Collage Class at the SEE

Are you ready to make one of Laura's Collage Quilts?

Join Judy a Certified Laura Heine instructor. This class is limited to 10 students, to ensure everyone has space to work on their collage quilt.

For this class you will choose from one of Laura's Teeny Tiny Collage Patterns, we have lots to choose from. Pattern included in class fee. Laura's Teeny Tiny Collage pattern is the perfect size for a first-time collage quilter.

Sunday 10:00am - 3:00PM

In the first Class we will go over how to choose your fabrics. We will not be using kits. Choosing your own fabric will give you the opportunity to personalize your collage quilt with the fabrics you select. This a great scrap buster, so bring those scraps to class.

We will also go over the supply list and how to prepare your fabrics and foundation. You will start fusing fabric and cutting your cuttables.

The second day We will start building your collage Quilt using Laura's technique.
The last day we will work on finishing up Collage quilt.

Judy will bring a trunk show of Collage Quilts and give you tips along the way.

NO need to bring your sewing machine for this class.

#2 pencil or mechanical pencil.

Pencil sharpener art eraser.

Karen K Buckley Medium Blue handled serrated scissors

Applique pressing Sheet - medium to large pressing sheet this is a must have.

Steam A Seam 2 (No Substitutions/NOT lite) amount will depend on the pattern you choose and how many cuttables you want.

Rotary cutter and Ruler.
Ruler 6X12 or similar

We are going to Bermuda! Join us May 24, 2026 as we set sail from Cape Liberty, NJ. We will make it to our destination May 27th where we will spend 3 days in Bermuda before making our way back to New Jersey on the 31st.
This is an Open Sew style trip we will provide you with a machine, scissors, straight pins, irons, cutting stations, you just need to bring your own project!
We will also have some giveaways.

This is an all inclusive cruise. Price included a veranda stateroom, wifi, drink package and gratuities.
