Hollow Cube 60

Join Amy for a fun day talking about color value

and fabric placement to create these fun blocks that will look like light shining through a hollow cube.

We will make one block together so you can understand the process. Then the rest of the day, you can create any size block you wish and begin designing your quilt!!

Please bring some scrap fabric for your practice block –

You will need (1) 1.5” x WOF

and (1) 2.5” x WOF strips for your practice block. You will need a dark, a medium and a light fabric for your blocks.

REQUIRED FOR CLASS:

**Studio 180 Star 60 Tool with InvisiGrip on the backside of the tool.**

Additional Class Supplies:

* Studio 180 Hollow Cube 60 Technique Sheet – you will receive this as part of your

paid class fee.

*As this class will teach you a technique using your Star 60 tool and the Hollow Cube

60 Technique Sheet, there is not a pattern for a specific quilt.

Therefore, it is not possible

to give you specific fabric requirements for a project. It is suggested that you bring Fat Quarters or stash fabric so you can learn the technique. Then we can talk about planning a project and figuring out fabric yardage requirements.

*Please bring your sewing machine in good working order, your power cord and foot

pedal.

*Basic sewing/quilting supplies: scissors, rotary cutter, marking pen, pins, a ruler for

cutting fabric, personal iron (optional), etc.
